I truly did not enjoy The Fighter
ReplyDeleteI went to see The Fighter because everyone (including you) liked it a lot.
I guess it's good..... but I hated everyone in it. Okay, maybe not Mark
Wahlberg's character or Amy Adams' but those racist, homophobic,
ignorant, alcoholic, crackhead, angry outskirts-of-Bostonians I had to
live around for 6 years made me sick.
Yeah, the movie ends with redemption for everyone in the last 15 minutes.
that's great. for them. I was on the verge of leaving about 20 times....
but then there'd be a scene between Amy Adams and the 7 butt-ugly sisters
and I'd stay.
Okay...the acting was truly terrific and Christian Bale is a shoo-in for an Oscar and
probably Melissa, too. Amy Adams was just a delight and Wahlberg was
kind of a blank. I usually like him but he had the hard job of holding
it all in here and he was almost too good at it.
I dunno. those people are just too ugly and I don;t mean their sallow dry
skin. and I still hate friggin' boxing and the lowlifes (whatever their
income level) who like it
